Burkina Faso"s government has halted the Target Malaria program, a controversial genetically modified mosquito initiative backed by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Includes stuff on @BillGates pushing highly controversial #GMO gene drive tech. The NIH’s program to control mosquitoes with GMOs was apparently started with seed money from Gates.
