George Orwell (1903 - 1950), real name Eric Arthur Blair, was a British writer, journalist and convinced anti-totalitarian who, during his lifetime, openly expressed his beliefs through his works. He is known as the author of the well-known novels "Animal Farm" and "1984", which act as hints of the future, and today, when the future has already reached us, of today's world.
