Find similar and identical images
Find.Same.Images.OK enables to find identical or similar images in your folders, even if they have been rotated, resized or otherwise altered.
Simply select one or more folders that you want the program to scan and it will a return a list of all images that are either duplicates or very similar, as indicated by the percentage of similarity and the built-in side-by-side preview.
You can then select images from the list and then copy, move or delete them. There are also smart selection options that let you automatically select the better (higher quality) copy of the image.
Find.Same.Images.OK performs a pixel-by-pixel analysis of each image, which allows you to find similar images, even if they have different dimensions or have been edited (e.g caption added).

 | Another wonderful program put out by SoftwareOK. I do like that this program is specific, small, fast and displays the information you need to evaluate every image. It has features to detect if a photo has been flipped, rotated, or reversed. This I found of interest because when taking pictures on a phone you sometimes have to alter the image but have the original image in another location. So kudos on the added features. |
 | Effectively locates duplicates and near-duplicates, even if two files are somewhat different. User can adjust degree of similarity, although only coarsely. Many dark pictures will look alike at less than 100 similarity selection, and "better" image may require human supervision. I found this more accurate, faster, and easier to use than a couple of other free ones I've tried. Selecting specific files and folders to compare could be easier. This is from a great developer. |
