10-30-14) in firefox version 33.0.0 and 33.0.1 and this version here 33.0.2, all have been crashing really bad, and it even crashes when i close firefox , ha ha , the crash reporter pops up either way , so i went to take a peek at its forum, and they said avast was making it slow and crash, and so i went to the avast forums to take a peak and the avast users have been complaining about the new version of, "avast 2015.10.0.2206". and it came down to two things, a bug in firefox and mostly a bug in the new "Avast 2015" , by the way this has slowed down my google chrome very much. any ways i fixed it by disabling this one thing in the avast settings and then going to the active protection, from there i went to web shield and then clicked on customize and then i took out the check mark that is on the " Enable HTTPS Scanning" and for me it stopped firefox from crashing repeatedly and google chrome became really fast, so i think this is more of a Avast 2015 bug , than anything else. |

why so hate on chrome? also it's not like other chromium based browsers which looks and acts completely like chrome. it uses the Blink engine which is jointly developed by google and opera. so opera isn't dead it has it's own identity and the most innovative among all others. |
