 What the heck is going on in Europe? Irish RT journalist Chay Bowes was detained in Romania and deported to Istanbul, outside the EU.
As an Irish citizen, Chay could only be denied entry by an EU country like Romania under exceptional circumstances, requiring him to pose a threat to "public policy, security or health."
His sole "offense" was intending to report on the Romanian election as a journalist.
